Arsenal are reportedly interested in Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.
The 24-year-old is understood to want a move away from Napoli this summer after the Italain club failed to qualify for the Champions League next season.
And according to Eurosport, Napoli are willing to sell the Algerian but only if a bid exceeds the £10 million mark.
Ghoulam featured regularly for the Naples side last season, making 20 Serie A and 11 Europa League starts.
Although Ghoulam is primarily a left-back by trade, he is also able to play on the left flank as a midfielder and forward.
Arsenal are believed to be keen on adding a left-sided player to their squad this summer, with Lukas Podolski set to depart, and Ghoulam appears to have caught the eye of Arsene Wenger.
It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal do make a move for Ghoulam, but my guess is we won’t be bringing in another left-back, with Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal already on the books.
It makes sense that Wenger and Arsenal are keeping an eye on left backs, there has been talk about Monreal being wanted so as a ‘just incase Monreal wants to leave’ we need to be prepaird… I hope we wont need to buy a left back but the team is always evolving and sometimes players may want to go back home.
Faouzi Ghoulam is 24-year-old , his Height is 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) .He is left footed and played at the top level .He will help Arsenal to avoid conceding goals regularly from set pieces . young strong and quick he is better than what we have and can give arsenal ten years of playing , I believe he will be an excellent signing to strengthen Arsenal defense .
Arsenal do not need any bloody left back , we have one of the best in the division in monreal and a proven custodian in gibbs.
