Should he be at Arsenal next season?

David OspinaArsenal are on the cusp of signing Petr Cech from Chelsea for around £11 million, which has been perceived by the media and Emirates faithful alike as a great piece of business.

But with the experienced Czech goalkeeper coming in this summer, it means bad news for David Ospina, who only joined the Gunners from Nice last summer.

The Colombian shot-stopper, 26, has been linked with a transfer move away from Arsenal, with the player himself recently admitting that his agent is in talks with Fenerbahce.

Ospina became Arsene Wenger’s number one at the start of 2015 after Wojciech Szczesny was found smoking in the showers following the 2-0 loss to Southampton on New Year’s Day.

However, while Szczesny was snubbed by Wenger for the Premier League and Champions League games this year, the Pole was involved in the FA Cup matches and did start in the 4-0 final win over Aston Villa last month. And Woj now looks set to remain at the Emirates, while Ospina could be shown the door by Wenger.

But do you want to see Ospina stay at Arsenal and be a part of the squad next season? Or is the South American’s time at the Emirates up?

It would be necessary if Wenger should allow Ospina to stay let dont have a repeat of the year when we lost all our goal keepers to injury. Please Mr Wenger lets boast of a perfect replacement to settle injury problems

I think in spite of stature Osp will be a better keeper than Woj. He’s done a marvellous job for Columbia in the current tournament. Pls keep him back.

its would be a good lession to woj if sent on loan leaving atleast ospina as number 2!

let ospina go and keep woj as number 2 he can learn from one of the best keepers the premier league has seen. woj is still young enough and can take over from cech in two or three years time and would probably be one of the best arse have ever had

  • tony says:

Also we still have Martinez who has improved every year he has been with us

  • ayub says:
