Lille want to sign Yaya Sanogo on loan this summer.
The 22-year-old forward joined Arsenal in 2013 and has scored one goal in 19 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners so far.
His lack of playing time last season for Arsenal saw the French forward join Crystal Palace on loan over the winter, but failed to make impact, starting just four games for the Eagles.
But it appears Lille are interested in Sanogo and, according to French magazine Le 10 Sport, the French club have approached Arsenal over acquiring the former Auxerre forward’s services on loan for next season.
Wenger now has to decide whether to allow Sanogo to go out to Lille to gain more first-team football.
I think a loan move for Sanogo is a must this summer as I can’t see the Frenchman playing regularly for us next season.
Lille looks a good option for Sanogo and if it turns out that the Ligue 1 club are the only option for the youngster this summer, then I believe Wenger should send him there. More first-team experience for Sanogo will do a world of good for him, even if it is in France.
