PodolskiLukas Podolski has said he will leave Arsenal this summer, but only if the right deal comes along.

The German forward returned to Arsenal from his unfruitful five-month loan spell at Inter, with his future at the Emirates still in limbo.

However, with the arrivals of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck last summer, Arsene Wenger has reportedly told the 30-year-old forward that he is free to find a new club as he does not feature in his first-team plans next season.

Podolski still has one-year remaining on his current contract but has stated he is not prepared to sit on the bench.

Earlier in the week, Podolski stated he still has plenty to offer the Gunners but also revealed recently that he would be open to a move to Turkey, if an offer was made:

‘If an offer comes from Turkey, I will sit down and talk about it with my family and girlfriend.

‘If I find the right club, the right coach, the right environment, I will evaluate it.

‘If these conditions are met, I think everything is possible.

‘The next transfer could be my last, so I have to take a well-thought step.’

Galatasaray were once interested in the German but are no longer, according to their manager Hamza Hamzaoglu.

There is still hope for Podolski to move to Turkey, however, as Fenerbache were keen on him in the past, and could rekindle their interest in the upcoming months.

If the right deal comes along, then Wenger should allow Podolski to leave, as I struggle to see him feature for us next season.
