David OspinaArsenal have agreed to sell David Ospina to Fenerbahce, according to reports in Turkey.

The Colombian goalkeeper only signed for the Gunners last summer and despite establishing himself as Arsene Wenger’s number one at the start of the New Year, after demoting Wojciech Szczesny to the bench, it looks as though he could be on his way out of the Emirates.

Arsenal have and continue to be linked with a move for Petr Cech, 33, with reports suggesting the Chelsea shot-stopper wants to sign for the Gunners this summer, leaving Ospina’s future in doubt.

Turkish newspaper HaberTurk claims the 26-year-old is ready to put pen to paper on a deal with Fenerbahce.

It is believed Arsenal have agreed a fee of around £4 million for the Ospina, with personal terms yet to be finalised.

If reports are to be believed and Ospina is on his way out then it would seemingly pave the way for Cech to come in.

It would be nice to see Ospina remain at the club to offer competition, but he will want regular first-team football. And if Cech does come in then I don’t the Colombian international will feature much next season at Arsenal.

The move makes sense and increases speculation that Cech is actually on his way to the Emirates.
