Jordan AmaviArsenal are eyeing up a summer move for Nice full-back Jordan Amavi.

The 21-year-old has an impressive debut season for the Ligue 1 club, where he has established himself as a regular under manager Claude Puel.

The attacking left-back has been watched by Arsenal representatives last season and RMC, according to sources, claim Arsene Wenger is keen on the French youngster.

Lyon are also said to be interested in Amavi and will enter the race for his signature if Nice are willing to sell the £2.2 million-rated starlet.

Amavi, who primarily is a left-back, can also be used further up the field, and it’s understood he would jump at the chance to work under Wenger at Arsenal.

Arsenal do already have Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs vying for a starting role in the side, but with the latter more often than not injured and the former not yet convincing the Arsenal faithful that he can hold the position down for years to come, Wenger is keeping his options open this summer.

Amavi, who still has two-years left on his Nice contract, made 37 appearances for the French outfit last season.
