Would Chelsea sell him to Arsenal?

Petr CechChelsea will NOT allow Petr Cech to join Arsenal this summer, according to Ray Wilkins.

The 32-year-old has been playing second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois this season and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge over the summer – even though he has a year left on his current deal at Chelsea.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Cech, despite signing David Ospina from Nice and having Wojciech Szczesny on the books as well.

But former Chelsea assistant manager Wilkins reckons the Gunners would be wasting their time in chasing Cech as he insists Jose Mourinho will not allow him to move to the Emirates:

‘If you look at Chelsea’s actions over the last few years, with the likes of Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou, they were all sold outside the country so they couldn’t do any damage to the club in the Premier League.

‘Jose Mourinho will do the same with Petr Cech.’

I’ve said this from the start, Chelsea will not sell Cech to us – it doesn’t make any sense.

Still, this shouldn’t discourage our reported pursuit of him, and I’m sure Arsene Wenger has other goalkeepers up his sleeve this summer.

Its true Chelsea will never sell Cech to AFC not with Mou at Stamford bridge. Forget it Wenger , just strengthen the team with a better cd and dmf. Ospina is a good keeper.
