Jack WilshereThere has been a lot of speculation surrounding Jack Wilshere’s future at Arsenal after reportedly being a summer target for Manchester City.

City are believed to be keen on the 23-year-old and are ready to launch a £25 million bid for the Arsenal midfielder when the summer transfer window opens.

Arsenal fans are split on whether Wilshere will reach his full potential as the England international has struggled to progress in his development (due to injuries) over the past couple of seasons.

But despite what the Emirates faithful think, Arsene Wenger believes he will become a stalwart for the club and will not sell him as a result.

Stewart Robson on the other hand believes Wishere should quit Arsenal this summer to fulfil his potential, claiming the midfielder will never learn to be a complete player under Wenger’s tutelage:

‘I think it is the right time for Jack Wilshere to leave.

‘He will learn more about the game if he went to either Man City or Chelsea. He would learn the defensive side of the game, as well as the attacking side of the game. He would a better all-round player.

‘He can still be one of England’s top internationals for years to come of he gets the right tuition.’

On his day, Wilshere is one of the best midfielders in Europe – his cameo appearance last night against Hull City is evidence of this and shows he still has a part to play for the Gunners.

Will his fulfil his potential at Arsenal? I believe so. He’s still 23 and can only get better with games under his belt, and Wenger is the right man to show him the way.

I did initially say that Wilshere should be sold, but having been reminded of his technical ability last night, I’ve changed my mind. I believe he can become a great for the club if he keeps his head down and stays out of the public eye off-field.

Just recycling that ‘croc of sh*t’ from the Robson snake and no Arsenal fans are not split just the media wanting to bring us down when we are on a high.

I was taking this article seriously until it said that on his day he is one of the best midfield players in Europe

According to his mum may be…

Wilshere is dead wood – not as bad as diaby but bad enough.

Idiots like you should never be allowed near a keyboard.

Apparently a 20 minute cameo is all it takes to convince your flimsy, yet insightful enough to build a team, excuse for a mind. Call Arsene and tell him to put the brakes on the Wilshere transfer because Tony has changed his mind! He is a brilliant player who loves Arsenal. It’s retards like you who perpetuate such stupid notions.

Everyone’s entitled to an opinion. If 20 minutes is all it takes to swing your
mind, please refrain from sharing your idiotic opinion.
