Here’s some news that could excite a few Arsenal fans (including myself) Edinson Cavani could be heading to England, according to his agent.
The Uruguayan striker has been linked with a move away from PSG in the past year and is said to be considering his future at the Ligue 1 club.
Laurent Blanc has previously stated that he will consider selling some of his top players at the end of the season, with Cavani, as well as Ezequiel Lavezzi, believed to be on the Frenchman’s list.
Arsenal were reportedly linked with a £50 million move for the 28-year-old during the January transfer window and could reignite their interest over the summer
Napoli are understood to be keen on bringing Cavani back to Serie A, but his agent Claudio Anellucci insists no Italian club could afford to take the striker. He has instead hinted that the forward could make a move to the Premier League or La Liga.
Anellucci told Radio Olympia, as reported by talkSPORT.com:
‘I can rule out Edinson returning to Italy.
‘There aren’t the [financial] conditions for any club to take part in a bidding process to get him. The markets right now are Spain and England.’
