Paulo DybalaArsenal have made an opening offer to Palermo for Paulo Dybala, with the striker keen on a move to Arsenal if he were to leave the Serie A side for the Premier League this summer.

Chelsea and Manchester City are also watching the 21-year-old, who has scored 12 goals in 28 games this season, and Juventus are also believed to be keen in the Argentine’s services.

Palermo are willing to sell Dybala as he has only one-year left to run on his existing deal, and the club’s president, Mauro Zamparini is keen to do a sale at £30 million.

Zamparini recently claimed offers from Arsenal and Juventus have already been received for Dybala.

Speaking to Italian station Radio Marte – as reported by the Daily Mail – Zamparini said:

‘Juventus and Arsenal have already made ??the offerings, Pierpaolo Triulzi, the boy’s agent, will be in Italy on Friday.

‘My request is more than 40 million euros. Dybala would prefer to stay in Italy, but among the English clubs Arsenal is the first choice of the boy for the way he plays the team coached by (Arsene) Wenger.’

The size of Arsenal’s and Juve’s respective offers remain undisclosed, but it’s a clear indication that Wenger is looking for a new forward and rates Dybala highly.

Dybala would prefer to stay in Italy, as indicated by Zamparini, which means Juve are the frontrunners for the striker’s signature.

However, should he decide to leave Italy for England this summer, Arsenal would be his preferred destination which means there is still hope that we will see him at the Emirates next season.
