Marco ReusMarco Reus is supposedly ready to snub advances from Chelsea to join Arsenal at the end of the season, according to reports.

The 25-year-old looked poised to leave Dortmund to make a move to fierce rival Bayern Munich over the summer.

However, Bayern have decided NOT to go in for the German international as they have other targets in mind and have enough attacking flair in their squad already.

And while Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid are all interested in Reus, the creative forward would prefer to join Arsenal to work under Arsene Wenger. If reports are to be believed, then Wenger will be pleased to learn that the German’s preferred destination – if he were to leave Dortmund – is the Emirates, and the Frenchman could land him for as little as £20 million as his release clause would drop to this figure at the end of the season.

Despite having two-and-a-half years left to run on his existing contract, Reus could consider his future at Dortmund, who currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga and will not feature in the Champions League next season.

£20 million for Reus would be an absolute bargain and hopefully we see him at the Emirates next season.
