The EmiratesHere are my Arsenal player ratings from today’s 3-0 home win over Stoke City:

David Ospina – Made his Premier League debut and couldn’t have wished for an easier baptism of fire, as the Colombian was never tested or hardly seen. 6/10

Mathieu Debuchy – Suffered what appeared to be a dislocated shoulder in the 12th minute which ended his day. 5/10

Per Mertesacker – Dealt with the aerial height of Peter Crouch and was positioned well throughout. 6.5/10

Laurent Koscielny – Like his centre-back partner, the Frenchman also kept his position well and got some decent tackles in. Also managed to opening the scoring with a good header. 7/10

Nacho Monreal – Got forward well and always offered the overlap. Did, at times, find it hard to contain Bojan, but the Spaniard did alright. 6/10

Francis Coquelin – Got stuck in and was well disciplined in his role. Kept things neat and tidy in the midfield. 6.5/10

Santi Cazorla – Pulled the strings in the first half with some lovely passes and dominance in midfield. Always looked to create and get forward. Another good display from the diminutive Spaniard. 7.5/10

Tomas Rosicky – The 34-year-old rolled back the years with a vintage display. Got forward superbly and linked up well with Santi and Alexis. Got an assist, and if he continues this form, will feature further. 7.5/10

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Made some exciting and powerful runs forward and wasn’t afraid to take players on, which he did. Final ball let him down though. 7/10

Alexis Sanchez – Didn’t stop running and always wanted the ball to manufacture a chance for himself or his team-mates. Bagged a brace, plus an assist, and was Arsenal’s Man of the Match. 8.5/10

Olivier Giroud – Had two or three decent efforts on goals but his movement was lacking. 6/10

SUBS:

Hector Bellerin – Came on for the stricken Debuchy and looked comfortable. Had a good battle with Marko Arnautovic on the flank and made some great tackles and interceptions. 6.5/10

Theo Walcott – Was given a run out after replacing ‘The Ox’ in the 67th minute. Still lacking match fitness and sharpness after scuffing an effort which should have at least hit target. 5/10

Mesut Ozil – Came on for Giroud in the 73rd minute mark and showed us his passing ability and touch hasn’t left him. Good to see the German maestro back in an Arsenal shirt after three months out. 5.5/10
