andrej kramaricArsenal have enquired about the availability of HNK Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric.

The 23-year-old Croat has been in superb form for Rijeka this season, netting an impressive 27 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions so far, which has alerted the Gunners, as well as clubs in both Germany and Italy.

AC Milan, Inter and Juventus are all believed to have approached the Croatian outfit about Kramaric, while Atalanta made an offer only to be told that the player had already agreed to join Chelsea on a pre-contract in January.

But the Daily Mail reports that Rijeka are contesting the pre-contract agreement with Chelsea, saying the player still has six months left on his existing deal and want to sell rather than lose him on free.

And with no signs on a contract extension, Rijeka are looking to do business with any club interested and willing to splash out £8 million for the young forward.

Spurs have also been touted as a possible destination but Rijeka will highly likely sell to the highest bidder, regardless whether they are in European competition.

Well if last Saturday’s result against United is anything to go by, Arsene Wenger has to bolster both his back and frontline, and Kramaric has a stunning return so far this season for Rijeka.

However, the Croatian league is nowhere near that of the English and perhaps we would be better signing a forward who is at least playing in one of the top five European leagues.
