Arsene WengerWe managed to pick up our first three points of the season on Saturday evening, narrowly beating CrystalPalace 2-1. But a win is a win, no matter how it was achieved, and it is a good start to the Premier League campaign.

But tomorrow sees us take on Besiktas in the first of two legs of our Champions League qualifier.

The Turkish outfit are not to be taken lightly, especially at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Managed by Slaven Bilic, Besiktas boast experience and a lot of home-grown talent – 15 of their 23-man squad are Turkish. But the two players who Arsenal fans will be familiar with is former Chelsea and Newcastle forward Demba Ba and ex-Gunner Oguzhan Ozyakup.

However, the draw could have been a lot unkind for Arsenal and many will back the Gunners to progress into the group stages of the Champions League at Besiktas’ expense, particularly with our record against Turkish clubs.

The first leg is always the most important and Arsene Wenger will have to pick the right team to go out tomorrow night and get the right result to take back to the Emirates.

There are no new injuries, but Laurent Koscielny and Kieran Gibbs are doubts, but should be available. Theo Walcott, Serge Gnabry and David Ospina are still out of contention for the time being.

Taking this into consideration, here is how I think the Frenchman will play it tomorrow:

Szczesny

Debuchy         Chambers        Koscielny         Gibbs

Arteta         Flamini

Alexis         Ramsey         Cazorla

Giroud

If Koscielny and Gibbs are fit then the back five should be the same from Saturday.

Mikel Arteta is a cert, but I think Jack Wilshere should be dropped for Mathieu Flamini, as the latter would be useful in a game like this, especially away from home.

Alexis Sanchez on the right, man of the moment – Aaron Ramsey in the hole and Santi Cazorla on the left.

Olivier Giroud has to play ahead of Yaya Sanogo tomorrow. Giroud would cause more trouble to Besiktas’ defence than Sanogo, and would at least have a shot on target!
