Francis CoquelinQPR want to take Francis Coquelin on loan this season.

According to French publication L’Equipe, as reported by talkSPORT.com, the 23-year-old midfielder looks set for another loan move away from the Emirates, having had spells abroad with Lorient and Freiburg in the past four years.

Harry Redknapp is thought to be keen on adding another midfielder to his squad before the transfer window shuts and had hoped to sign Jonathan de Guzman, but the Dutchman joined Napoli instead.

Reports now suggest that Redknapp is ready to ask Arsene Wenger about the availability of Coquelin.

Coquelin’s future at Arsenal is in serious doubt – due to the number of midfielders Wenger has at his disposal – and will highly likely be shipped out, either on loan or sold, in the near future.

Some Ligue 1 clubs are also considering a move for the Frenchman but QPR look to be ahead of the queue at the moment.

I don’t Coquelin has a future at Arsenal and Wenger would be wise to sell him for a small fee and let the midfielder rebuild his career elsewhere.
