Joel Campbell could be playing in the Premier League next season, but it may not be with Arsenal.
Recent reports suggested the 22-year-old’s future will be assessed after the World Cup ends next Sunday, with many believing the Costa Rica star will finally get the chance to play for the Gunners since joining Arsene Wenger’s side three years ago.
But this still may not be the case as Campbell’s agent, Roger Lacey, admitted a few days ago that there is interest from Italian clubs for his client following some impressive performances in Brazil this summer.
However, the Daily Express now claims that Campbell, who spent last season on loan at Olympiakos, could be farmed out on loan to a Premier League club until January at least.
Newcastle, Everton, West Ham and Southampton are all keen on the tricky forward.
If he’s not going to feature for us again this season then perhaps Wenger should just consider selling him.
A loan move to another Premier League side would be ideal as he can gain experience in the English game, but I’m not sure he would be keen on being loaned out again!
One problem with your story, it’s based on a lie. Roger Lacey is not Joel’s agent, he’s a chancer. The whole Italian club interest was totally fabricated by him.

Campbell is a million miles from playing in the Prem and despite ridiculous over-hype, has been pretty average in the World Cup. Shouldn’t be anywhere near the Arsenal first team and if someone is stupid enough to pay in excess of £15m for him we should bite their hand off!

Campbell is good and will even add more to arsenal attack and will also be a threat when sub in whenever arsenal is goal down and I will appreciate seeing him in arsenal shirt next season as he is a good left footer who have proved himself at the world cup… so my fellow arsenal fans let’s support this young talented player.. in Arsene we trust
Wenger already said he (Campbell) will get a chance. definitely he will add a new dimension to the arsenal attack and strengthen the squad. what a good player he is and l for one believes he will make the grade at arsenal. all the best @ Campbell
