Should we be worried by this?

Aaron RamseyWell this is something we don’t want to hear or read about, two European giants by the names of Bayern Munich and Barcelona eyeing up possibly our best performer last season, Aaron Ramsey.

According to the Metro, both Barca and Bayern are continuing to monitor the Welsh midfielder, even though Arsene Wenger is reluctant to sell him.

The 23-year-old had a productive season for the Gunners, managing to notch up 13 goals and nine assists in 32 appearances in all competitions and scored the winner against HullCity in the FA Cup final to secure Arsenal’s first trophy in nine years.

Despite being the subject of the Emirates boo-boys two years ago, Ramsey has emerged as one of Arsenal’s best performers and is now regarded as a key figure in Arsene Wenger’s side. So prolific has Ramsey been that Wenger is pondering whether or not to bring back Cesc Fabregas to the club this summer.

But Arsenal have been known to sell their best players in the past and with news that both Bayern and Barca are watching, it’s not endearing as a fan to hear.

Barca are looking to sell Fabregas this summer and have targeted Ramsey, who previously admitted that he could see himself playing for either Barca or Real in the future, as an ideal replacement.

While Bayern reportedly want to bring the Welshman to the Allianz as a potential replacement for Toni Kroos, who has only one year left to run on his existing contract at the Bundesliga champions.

Should we be worried? Well if history is anything to go by then perhaps. But I can’t see Ramsey departing – not this summer anyway.

I would be sad if Rambo decide to leave Arsenal for whatever reason. We supported him during the time he was injured and only had this season as his best.i beg please lets keep him at all cost.

Really not worried by this nonsense. Maybe one day he will leave for a new challenge. However the days when we wouldn’t or couldn’t compete with the biggest teams is thankfully over. FFP and excellent housekeeping has now put us in a sustainable position to compete forever. Not this boom an bust nonsense that other so called big hitters go through or the financial cheating of the sugar daddy clubs. COYG.
