Loic RemyLoic Remy would jump at the chance to join Arsenal if the Gunners come knocking in the summer, according to the Sunday People.

The 27-year-old, who is currently on loan to Newcastle from QPR, is known to be a huge admirer of Arsenal great Thierry Henry and although Spurs are also believed to be interested in Remy, the French striker would choose the Emirates over White Hart Lane.

The Sunday People claim a source close to the France international said on a potential move to Arsenal:

‘If Arsenal want him that’s where he will go. Where else would a big fan of Thierry Henry want to go?’

QPR are willing to let Remy depart Loftus Road at the end of the season if the £15 million asking price is met.

Remy’s loan spell at Newcastle runs out at the end of the season and it is thought the agile forward wants his future sorted out before he heads off to the World Cup in Brazil with France.

He would, in my opinion, be an ideal signing for us this summer – we certainly could do with another forward on board and should Olivier Giroud depart in the summer then Remy would be a more than acceptable replacement.

Remy would suit our style of play and with Champions League football for next season in sight, the Frenchman would almost certainly love to join club his hero (Henry) once played for.
