03Arsenal have lined up Martin Hinteregger to replace Johan Djourou, who looks to be heading to Hull at the end of the season.

The Metro claims the Gunners want to strengthen their back-line with Djourou set to leave in the summer and want to replace the Swiss international with the 21-year-old, Red Bull Salzburg Austrian.

It is believed Red Bull Salzburg will want around £8 million for Hinteregger, who is also being tracked by Manchester United and Lazio.

The player’s agent, Frank Schreier, says there are many clubs who are interested in his client and believes Salzburg will ask for no less than £8.25 million for Hinteregger:

‘There are so many interested clubs that have asked me about the boy, but then again, there is nothing official.

‘I think Salzburg will ask for not less than £8.25m and I think the currently they do not have any intention of selling him.’

Hinteregger has been at Salzburg since 2006 where he was developing and playing for their youth side until he made the breakthrough into their first-team in 2010. Since then, the Austrian international has made 87 appearances for Salzburg and found the back of the net three times.
