Jack WilshereArsenal host Bayern Munich at the Emirates tomorrow night and it’s a game which promises to be a cracker with both sides having an impressive season thus far.

So here are the seven stats and facts you should know before the two sides lock horns once again:

1. English sides have won seven of the last 10 Champions League meetings with German clubs – but the away outfit have come out on top in eight of those matches.

2. Arsenal have failed to qualify from the Last 16 Round of the Champions League in the last three seasons, while Bayern have been knocked out of this stage of the competition just the once in the last five.

3. Arsene Wenger’s side have only conceded five goals in Europe this season, but four of them have come in the last 20 minutes of a game.

4. The last time these two sides met att this stage of the competition was last season – Bayern scraped through on the away goals rule with the tie ending 3-3.

5. Bayern have averaged 2.5 goals away from home this season, the highest in Europe’s top five leagues.

6. Pep Guardiola’s side have had the most attempts on target than another other side in the competition (78). Arsenal, however, had only had 33.

7. Bayern have lost just one game in the Champions League so far – this coming in the last Group Stage match against Man City, a game they lost 3-2 – but have scored 17 goals and conceded four.
