paul-georges ntepPaul-Georges Ntep has admitted he would consider a move to Arsenal in the future.

The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for both France Under-20’s and Under-21’s and has established himself as a regular for Auxerre this season, netting five goals in 14 league appearances thus far for the Ligue 2 outfit.

United and Chelsea have been credited with interest for Ntep, but the youngster would prefer a move to Arsenal due to their history with young French players.

However, he says he would only make the move to Arsenal at the appropriate time in order to aide his development in the long run:

Quoted in L’Equipe as reported by Skysports.com, Ntep said:

‘Arsenal is a club that trusts young players. But it would all depend on the project.

‘If it is going to a new club to remain on the bench, what is the improvement? I don’t ask to be in the starting 11 of a big club immediately, but I could help in the not too long-term.’

When asked by reporters about a potential January exit from Auxerre, the French starlet replied:

‘I am thinking about it currently. Such a decision will depend on the project, time in first team and the style of the team.

‘The most important thing is not to leave, but leaving to reach a new standard. I haven’t made my decision just yet.

‘Maybe the question will be topical this winter, but it will be up to the club first to think about it.

‘The day I have an interesting project in front of me, I will think about it.’

Yet another youngster linked with us and although this transfer doesn’t look likely, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Ntep at our club in the near future.
