Will he ever learn?

The Denmark international, who once proclaimed himself as the greatest striker in the world, once again expressed his desire to leave Arsenal in January in search for regular first-team football.

The 25-year-old was sent out on season-long loans in the past two years and was strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates over the summer. However, the striker has found himself stuck at Arsenal, making cameo appearances thus far for Arsene Wenger’s side this season.

But Bendtner has grown disillusioned at the Emirates and has been desperate to leave the north London club over the past two seasons or so in order to play week in week out. And he has admitted that if he were to move this winter then it would be to a club where he would be featured on a regular basis.

Quoted on SkySports.com, Bendtner said:

‘It is the sporting challenge which is the most important.

‘I don’t want to sit on the bench and watch. I love to play lots of matches.

‘It should be a club where I will be happy to play. It should be a club where I get to score and preferably win something.

‘I don’t want to sit on the bench and watch. I love to play lots of matches.’

The forward finished off by saying that he may end his career at FC Copenhagen:

‘I might consider ending my career at FC Copenhagen and give the Superliga a try at the end.’

It’s clear to everyone that Bendtner does not want to be at Arsenal and I’m sure most (if not all) the Emirates faithful want him out following his unprofessional comments and behaviour in previous years.

I can understand his frustration at not playing regularly but this isn’t the way to go about it. He must remember that he is still an Arsenal player whether he likes it or not, and if he wants to look elsewhere when the transfer window opens then he should arrange a meeting with Wenger and discuss his options with the Frenchman behind closed doors.

Bentner is not natural footballer,he only tried to fit in. No natural footballer could fail to prove if not to improve in everywhere he goes, anyone can score goals but not everyone can be classy.

He’s such a useless player. he woul never learn from his past. he was suppose to earn us a draw @ old trafford but his laziness in front of goal wouldnt. he doesnt have an attitude to becoming a great player. in short, we’ve just been managing his silly legs. hope to grab a better striker by jan

For me if his attitude work rate and ability matched his confidence(ego) then we would have a first rate striker on our hands unfortunately he lacks professionalism. He had a chance to prove himself against west brom and Chelsea in capital one cup but failed to impress time for him to leave and make way for a better striker. Yet he won’t leave because he has a nice fat pay packet for doing nothing and does not want to lose that.
