What a horrible start to the new season – one red card received, two penalties awarded against us, a few injuries picked up and most importantly three goals and points dropped at home.
We started off well, playing some good football and knocking the ball about. And we managed to get our noses in front after 5 minutes of play thanks to Olivier Giroud. But then it all went tits up. Two penalties conceded that should never have been given and a very dubious red card awarded to Laurent Koscielny led to a 3-1 defeat. A disastrous one at that.
I don’t like to point blame at referees, but our one yesterday afternoon was an absolute shambles. All the calls went against us and unfortunately for us we paid the price for that bald idiot’s misjudgements.
However, and I don’t really want to repeat what everybody in the media and a lot of our fans are saying but Arsene Wenger needs to sort s*it out, and do so in the next 16 days!
It’s clear as crystal that we are in desperate need of new recruits. We have a much smaller squad this season, after letting go of 17, and this is worrying, especially if you want to challenge for silverware.
Wenger says he is working hard to acquire new players, but I think he’s kidding us. And I tell you what; if he doesn’t get his hands in his pockets and buys anyone in the next 16 days then this could be a very long and unenjoyable season for us fans.
Ok, it’s only one game of 38 and things can turn around quickly, but Wenger has to realise that he is severely lacking in personnel and quality in some areas of the side and needs to step up his game or face the consequences that comes his way this season.
Ref was crap but Arsenal should have enough about them to win games like that. Wenger needs to stop thinking that its HIS money and start spending it!
I cry for wenger because he will soon be sacked as things are going. We will miss out on top four but we will get back our arsenal after he is gone. Go go go go go go wenger. Thank you. Go. I wonder how many will he sign becos this squad needs up to 7 players in all areas. Can he do that? No so go go go now wenger. Next season is arsenals
Arsenal fans are so confusing. The first penalty was stone wall (possibly red for keeper) second was arguable but proven in MOTD that is was a pen. Either way arsenal fans are here saying its the refs fault they lost and ref cheating cost them points after points. Then blame wenger needing more players to win.
If the ref is the problem then more players won’t make a difference. If its the players then why blame the ref when he didn’t actually do much wrong. Blaming the ref backs Wengers opinion that no new players are required.
You all seem to want your cake and eat it.
First pen shouldnt have been given as they played advantage and missed. As for the second one kos clearly got the ball and his trailing leg has nothin to do wiv it. He got the ball. This side is thinner than it was last season and reinforcements are def needed

Adding only three players as Arsene thinks, won’t do much to bolster the squad to challenge for any trophy….our club is going to be just a super mid table team this season!
It has been confirmed from a reliable source that Wenger is a big time FOOTBALL GAMBLER. Are you guys surprised with what he and Gazids have been doing with the team for years now? He has been gambling millions each year with the team. The bet on ground now according to the source is not to buy any player but use these set of boys to achieve top 4 spot. It was the same bet he did some years back when Man United trashed us 8-2, he rushed to buy players and he lost millions on that bet. Now he wants to win that money back by betting same this season. I hope it backfires this time on his face again. He should be investigated for match fixing too.
It was a big shot to me, when I found that we lost d match yesterday. I ws also dissapointed about Winger selfishness of nt buying player this season.
Infact it was a big mistake of losing d first match, bt i finally realized a proverb that say ”sucess is nt final while failure is nt fatal, it is d courage that count”
Yesterday’s result has shown that Wenger has lost the plot. I persisted with Wenger out of respect and nostalgic belief in exploits now, sadly, too far gone to be relevant to his current managerial choices. But enough is enough. The team he’s assembled is mediocrity personified and that is not what Arsenal Football club was, is, or ever should be.
Wenger must go!
And the mediocrity that he hopelessly persists with must go as well. Start with Aaron Ramsey. Then sell Mertesacker, Podolski, and Sagan…for a start. The wholesale dismantling of the team must take place as well as the managerial change. The team Wenger has assembled was designed solely to win 4th place. And it won’t be strong enough even to do that this year without a thorough overhaul.
I’m sick of this great club settling for 2nd tier talent. I’m sick of 2nd tier players running around desperately chasing 4th place. We need to regain our dignity as a club and revitalize this team with 1st tier talent. Wenger is not the man for that job. Nuf Sed!
