El JadeyaouiArsenal have handed a trial to Alharbi El Jadeyaoui, with Arsene Wenger expected to sign the 26-year-old forward.

The Morocco international, who plays for Ligue 2 side Angers, is highly-rated in France and Wenger is keen to have a closer look at.

El Jadeyaoui is set to begin a two-day trial sometime this week, with Wenger eager to acquire him if he impresses the Frenchman.

Gilles Grimandi had recommended the Angers maestro to Wenger and with Lyon and Toulouse thought to be interested in the player, the Frenchman wanted to have the option of signing him before anyone else.

Known for his quick feet and technical ability, El Jadeyaoui, who can play in the centre of midfield or out wide, could be brought in to replace Gervinho who was sold to Roma a few days ago.

If Wenger is impressed with what he sees then it is believed Angers will want around £3 million for their prized asset.
