What should Wenger do with this injury-prone Gunner?

|

Abou DiabyBack in September 2012, Diaby said he is at a ‘decisive point’ of his Arsenal career, which, in other words, translates to: make or break time. Sadly, for those who rate him, the latter seems to have occurred.

The lanky Frenchman has been plagued with countless injuries over his eight years at Arsenal.

And despite a few decent performances last season for The Gunners, the 27-year-old suffered anterior cruciate knee ligament damage in March last year and isn’t expected to be back in action until Christmas!

‘I have come off the crutches. Now I have to start walking again.

‘I will start running again in a few weeks. I want to take my time with everything to ensure that it all goes smoothly.’

To be honest, I’ve had enough of seeing and reading about what Diaby is recuperating from month in, month out.

The player himself said it was a make or break season at Arsenal and unfortunately for him it hasn’t worked out for him.

The fact is, and this may seem harsh, the France international is an injury-prone player and will continue to pick up knocks in the latter stages of his career.

He pockets a lot of money at our club and it looks like he will be making a substantial amount of wonga sitting on his backside until Christmas.

Unfortunately we won’t be able to put him on the market as he is injured, so it seems are stuck with him until at least January. But who will bother trying to sign an injury-prone player? Would you sign him if you were a manager and knowing his injury record? I wouldn’t.

I don’t know when his contract expires but it appears this will be the only way to finally get him off our books!

Dont be so bloody stupid, lets get rid of Wilshere whilst were at it, as he is undergoing surgery in the summer.

ANTERIOR CRUCIATE KNEE LIGAMENT DAMAGE IS EXTENSIVE NON REPAIRABLE IN OTHER WORDS, HE WILL NOT MAKE FULL
RECOVERY BUT FOR LOWER LEAGUE MAYBE HIS ONLY OPTION. WASTED TALENT SADLY. GOOD LUCK ABOU, I WISH MIRACLES COULD COME TRUE.

Better yet, let’s get rid of him like we did that other injury prone Dutch player, I forget his name, something to do with a bird, a robin, who we pawned off on one of those northern clubs with more money than sense. Those injury prone lads never come good. Good riddance to the lot I say. It is not like we signed a contract with them, its it?

Get rid of him ? That is interesting. How does one do that when he has a legal contract for Arsenal to keep paying him till it runs out ?
