Santi CazorlaSanti Cazorla has revealed he has no plans to leave Arsenal after being linked with a summer switch to Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from the Bernabeu outfit following an impressive first full season at Arsenal, contributing 12 goals and 11 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions, and becoming an instant fans favourite with the Arsenal faithful.

The Spanish midfield maestro came close to signing for Real Madrid before eventually opting to join The Gunners from Malaga last summer.

When asked about a potential move to Real this summer, Cazorla revealed he is happy at The Emirates and wants to win trophies with the north London outfit:

‘In football you have to live in the moment.

‘I have three years left on my contract and I have not thought of anything like that. My plan is to continue at the club.

‘Arsenal are treating me very well and I want to win a title with them. In football, you cannot predict the future at any time.’

Cazorla took to the Premier League like duck to water and made a huge contribution towards us sealing a top four finish last season.

It’s great to hear that he is happy and committed to the club, and wants to help us win silverware.

He still has three-years left to run on his existing deal and I can honestly see him honouring his contract.

He is loved by the fans and he is clearly enjoying his football at present, so there is no need for him to think of the future…not yet anyway.
