Remy BonyArsene Wenger and the board seem to be on different wavelengths over transfer targets this summer, with the Frenchman wanting to sign while the head officials at the club believe they should make a move for .

Remy, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to in recent weeks, with Wenger believed to be a keen admirer of the striker.

And following relegation with QPR, Remy looks almost certain to leave the London club for a bargain price.

However, members of the Arsenal board would rather splash the cash on Ivory Coast international Bony.

Bony, who plays for Vitesse Arnhem, is said to have impressed The Gunners hierarchy with his fine form in front of goal this season for the Eredivisie club, scoring 35 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions, and is currently the top scorer in Holland.

Only and have more goals in a major European League than Bony.

However, Wenger remains keen on Remy despite his top striker target being Fiorentina’s , who would welcome a move to Arsenal this summer. Remy was on Wenger’s radar in January and considered a move for his fellow countryman but decided against it due to his fitness concerns.

But since arriving at QPR, Remy has notched up five goals in 11 starts and Wenger is now ready to make his move at the end of the season.

But which striker would add more value to our side – Remy or Bony?

Well Remy would cost us less, something in the region of £6 million, as he has a clause in his current deal at QPR. However, Bony, whose contract expires in 2015, has been in far superior form than the Frenchman.

If reports are to be believed, Remy seems keen on a move to Arsenal, while Bony wants to switch Holland for England in the summer.

Personally, either one would be a great signing for the club. But due to his Premier League experience and value, Remy looks the obvious choice. But we could well miss out on both their signatures if the club don’t get their act together.

So I ask:

Da Boss kmw better who will fit into the Arsenal set up quick enough. Remy has played 11 games with 5 goals in a new league having come in January but Bony has begin in Holland for more than 2 seasons n has mastered his trade very well that side. For me let’s have Remy

Everybody is watching at the stats of bony, and they are great. But dont forget he plays in the dutch eredivisie (my country) and its a waaaay worse then the EPL. Yeah bony is a great player but i dont know if it will work at arsenal, he is strong and can score but probably doesnt really fit at arsenal. I would rather see remy join us in the summer. And still im still convinced we should play with 2 strikers but thats me.

There is a list of strikers floating about, and that list can grow depending on the moves that happen with the big clubs.

We have Cavani, Falcao, Lewi, Dzeko,Jovetic, Benteke, Remy and if Real take a striker on Higuain/Benzama could ask to leave. Rooney on the move could open up a striker somewhere also. Lets see where we finish. Spurs are out for a striker no doubt and if they finish above us we could find ourselves having to choose Remy or worse. Benteke would be my number 1 pick. If you saw him today at Chelsea they couldnt handle him one bit. The guy is a beast! Unfortunately we will have to sit around and wait for the big spenders to make their moves and try pick up the spare pieces as best we can.
