‘I tend to think he will end his contract with the Gunners’

Arsene WengerRemi Garde expects Arsene Wenger will snub the chance to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer and remain in charge of Arsenal.

Wenger has been hotly tipped to replace Carlo Ancelotti at the Paris club this summer, but the Ligue 1 outfits free-spending philosophy will not be something the Frenchman is used too.

And because of this, Garde, who spent three years at Arsenal under his fellow countryman, believes Wenger will honour his existing contract at The Emirates which expires after next season’s campaign.

Quoted on talkSPORT.com, the Lyon boss told French radio station RMC:

‘I have no information. It’s been a few years since I worked under him.

‘Maybe his experience has changed his principles, but I tend to think he will end his contract with the Gunners.

‘When he arrived at Arsenal the situation was not easy. There were major British stars, sacred personalities. But I think he is quite capable of handling PSG, if it should happen.’

I also think Wenger will remain at Arsenal – at least until his current contract expires in summer 2014. The Frenchman has always honoured his contract and I don’t see why he would break his principles now – unless of course he’s had enough!

I’m pretty sure the prospect of managing a club like PSG will interest him though. However, I just can’t see it happening – not this summer anyway.

If arsene left the man to fill his place is pellegrini if u go with ur head. If u go with ur heart it would be bergkamp with an arsenal legend coaching team of seaman bould and henry to ably assist whilst usmanov buys the club and brings in dein to sort out the signings.
