Arsenal target reveals he wants to join Real Madrid

|

Geoffrey KondogbiaDespite Arsene Wenger recently expressing an interest in Geoffrey Kondogbia, the Frenchman will be left disappointed after the Sevilla midfielder revealed he wants to join Real Madrid.

The La Liga club face the prospect of losing the France Under-21 international this summer, with many European clubs monitoring the situation.

Manchester City are among clubs keen on the 20-year-old, while Real Madrid have also been watching him closely.

But Kondogbia says he would prefer a move to Jose Mourinho’s side, saying it would be a ‘dream’ to play for the Spanish giants.

He told Telefoot:

‘It is always a pleasure to know people are interested in you.

‘Madrid? That makes me dream but it is only a rumour for now. I want to play in the Champions League. My preference? Since childhood (it has been) Real Madrid.’

Kondogbia, who can also be deployed in the centre-back and left-back position, only has one-year left to run on his existing contract. So Sevilla can either sell the former Lens youngster this summer and recoup some cash or risk losing him on a free at the end of next season.

Well it looks like he want be arriving at The Emirates, that’s for sure.
