alexis sanchez forward should look to seal a move to , according to Udinese sporting director .

The 24-year-old Chilean was arguably one of the most coveted youngsters in world football before he left Udinese for Barcelona in 2011.

Many European clubs were reportedly interested in the Chile international, such as Manchester United and Chelsea, but he opted to join the Catalan club. However, since his switch to the , Sanchez has struggled to cement a starting role due to injuries and fierce competition for places, thus he has been unable to produce performances which made the whole of Europe take notice.

Due to his recent struggles at Barca, Sanchez could well become surplus to requirements this summer.

If he were to be shown the door this summer then it is unknown who, from the top European clubs, will be interested in his services. But Larini believes the pacey forward would flourish at The Emirates more than anywhere else.

Quoted in Italian sports website Tuttomercatoweb, Larini said:

‘I do not know his current situation at the Spanish club. But his fitness problems have definitely limited his performances.

‘The only thing that these teams will have to consider is that he is a player who needs freedom to play his way. In teams that have particularly rigid patterns of play he might have a few problems.’

He added:

‘Sanchez needs to play the ball on the ground, just like Arsenal. That would be his ideal game.’
