Arsenal are reportedly chasing SC Heerenveen prospect Rewan Amin.
Italian publication Tuttomercato suggests The Gunners are currently scouting the 17-year-old midfielder who is yet to turn pro at the Eredivisie club.
It is thought Arsene Wenger is on the prowl to bring in new, raw talent to Arsenal and Amin is expected to be a potential recruit in the summer, although they could face competition from PSV and Anderlecht, who are also believed to be interested in the youngster, to land the Under-17 Holland international.
Heerenveen are keen to keep Amin put, but the youngster could leave the Dutch club for a very modest compensation fee as he is currently an amateur.
I don’t mind our club and Wenger scouring the globe for young talent, but we need to concentrate more this summer on bringing in experienced players to complement our current squad.
Besides, we already have an array of top prospects at our club – do we really need more coming in?
