Just over a week into the January transfer window and we have seen two Gunners head out on loan but no new arrivals at The Emirates yet.
We have been linked with just about everyone and it seems we are set to strengthen every position in the side if reports are to be believed.
Many of the Arsenal faithful have called on Arsene Wenger to sign a striker, while some believe the back four still needs a little tweaking. Personally, I would just be happy to see a midfield enforcer come in this January. That’s it.
If we can reinforce some other areas of the squad this month then great. However, a dominant, powerful holding midfielder is a MUST, even if it means splashing out. We need someone in the side to press the ball and get stuck in, like Patrick Vieira used to do many years ago.
But who should Arsene Wenger look to bring in who fits the bill you ask? Yann M’Vila.
I know the Rennes midfielder has temperamental issues but he is exactly what the side needs – someone with passion and a bit nuts. Plus, the 22-year-old’s current contract at Rennes expires at the end of the season, meaning we could acquire him for as little as £7 million. A bargain.
The France international would certainly suit Arsenal’s style of play, as he possesses great energy, passing ability and is a powerful figure who could take to the Premier League like a duck to water.
He is still very young and his attitude at present may not be in the right state, but under the potential guidance of Wenger I believe he could become a great player for Arsenal if they were to reignite their interest in him once again.

I have not had enough time watching M’villa but from what I have heard, Arsenal needs this guy to help Arteta to protect the promising defence.
Some people give some excuses of manners but there worst characters than him who have clicked with other managers. The guy is young and he can learn or he has learnt from his mistakes why not take him to do his business on the pitch? RVP, Nasri, Adbayo etc have their own history but they did their job before leaving.

If Arsene does not reinforce the team in this January transfer window, that will effectively terminate th very faint goodwill he still enjoys from few of us. He should prove critics wrong this time around that he is not stingy, heady and very stubborn. All the money that Arsenal makes comes from us the faithfuls. We hold the aces in the long run and at the appropriate time, we shall use the big stick on his head.

This is the kind of player Arsenal need right now, but i don’t know why they take so long to sign a player in the form of M’vila, we need him now otherwise Arsenal may finish the season on 6th or 7th position. GUNNERZ 4 LIFE.

let wenger carry his own cross. if he’s force to buy any player he will make sure such player is play out of position in order for the fans to demonize the player. so pls give wenger the chance to make his personal chose.

Mr. Wenger is our faithful but very famous of not buyer a player you fans say please sign him and he finally regrets.
Imagine how many times he was told to sign David villa before he joined Barcelona and he himself has written come and get me plea.
What about Mata, Dzeko, Hazard, Ribery, Huntlear, Lugas biglia, Tores, M.villa, Kaka, Ba, the list could be endless.
and those players performed and won trophies in the past couple years.
With Arsenal proving to be a selling club, every youngester will soon follow the foot steps of Robin Van persie, Nasri, “Adebayour, Clitchy and beloved Fabrigas.
If not Arsene and Arsenal react sooner than later.

M’Vila is an amazing player and Arsenal could certainly put him to use. But… Who’s he gonna replace!? Wilshere, Arteta or Cazorla!? Their our starting 3 central midfielders, we cant have any of them on the bench. I’d love to see him here but we do not need new central midfielders.

If he were to come then unfortunately Arteta would have to be benched. Fact is Mikel isn’t a holding midfielder, M’Vila is, and that’s where our problem lie

We don’t have to bench anyone. Carzola can move to the flanks, the Wilshere will play in th AM, with Arteta as the box to box mid. Has anyone noted the way wilshere is creating chances?

M’Villa will certainly have a role to play in Arsenal, who will replace Wishere, Carzola or Arteta if they are injured or out of form? Is it Ramsey? The players need to be rotated at times! We need him.

And Barc are not Selling D. Vila, while Wenger said he will not sign M’villa. Then Get James Macarthy, and ? Pls help us to cocentrate on the game. Or give the reserve players more playin time.

if he did come you change the crap 451 formation to 442 or 41212 as he would cover for the full back going forward. At the moment no one covers for them and too many times ox sagna or podolski gibbs are in each others way and theres no one in the box when the ball eventually arrives

There’s a reason M’Vile went from a 20M man to 8M. He’s clearly overrated and worse his attitude is not something anyone wants to deal with – not Rennes, not France. He’s not the DM we want – he’s a reactive DM that only breaks up play when the opponent is coming at him. We need a proactive DM that will stop the opposition before it even begins building an attack. A Wanyama or a Capoue – M’Vila is more of a Makalele and that role has evolved alot since Claude was playing.

Wenger better get the defenders do their job well. Otherwise all the goals will count for nothing. 5 min from victory and the gunners concede a goal for Swansea to draw.t
This has been happening all the time and will happen again. Wenger is responsible for this. He better get the gunners climb or it will be another season to forget.
Already the gap with the top teams is widening thanks to his flawed views and there are many.Make it his last seson because the problems are repeated season after season which is totally unacceptable for atop club.As noted at any other team he would have been fired five years ago.

I think is about time arsenal fans should boycott arsenal matches to show their displeasure to Arsene Wenger as to how arsenal team is gradually sinking,if he does not take care arsena may found it difficult to qualify for europa cup.
