Splash the cash or lose out!!!

The loss to Chelsea yesterday not only proved we are miles behind our other rivals, but also, most importantly, proves Arsene Wenger needs to go out and splash the cash within the next 10 days, or we can forget about finishing in the top four this season.

We’ve heard the Frenchman has money to spend, at least £70 million, according to Ivan Gazidis, and the club have also paid off their stadium debt – so there is no excuse, no place to hide for Wenger and the Arsenal board anymore.

If we have the money, as Gazidis suggests, why hasn’t Wenger got around to bringing in the ‘exceptional’ talent he always goes on about? I’ll tell you why shall I? Because, and I honestly believe this, Arsenal FC is no longer a place top class players want to play for. Only young, raw talent are interested in joining The Gunners as it HAS, for sometime, been a stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities. The ‘exceptional’ player(s) are a figment of Wenger’s imagination, and he states this every season to keep the fans on edge and excited. Sadly, it doesn’t.

Wenger expressed his admiration for Edinson Cavani last week and will reportedly make a £30 million move for the Napoli striker – will he f***! Besides, would the Uruguayan actually want to play for our club? Would we match or better his wages that he currently receives at Napoli? No and no.

The fact is Wenger hasn’t brought anyone in of high-quality because Arsenal are a sinking ship. You know it, I know it.

Instead of being ambitious, Wenger has resorted to targeting the scraps, players who are not even getting into their respective teams, like Manchester United’s Nani.

Wenger has sadly settled for mediocrity which simply isn’t good enough for a club like Arsenal, and unless he wants to challenge for a top four spot this season then he and the board better whip out their cheque books and sign some quality, as this has strangely gone missing in recent years.

Rusta you legend! Cheers for the ‘support’ matey? You empower me with your ‘support’ and your ‘support’ makes me feel like I could take on the world! Maybe we should all start to ‘support’ our club!

      Simply, Arsenal.

We shall see murmours are the stadium has almost been paid off. Maybe Wengers been operating with one hand tied behind his back during this lean spell. Maybe Wenger had to sell these players to speed up the process of paying off the debt. Truth is we don’t know guy could really be a hero instead of the villan where making him out to be. He’s made mistakes bi doubt but how many Managers could maintain a top four finish with the limitations he’s seem to had recently very few. Notes at Everton gets a lot of praise rightly so to some extent for doing a similar job. Difference being he only once made it in the tip four and hasn’t wo? sod all in his tenure at Everton 10 years. Yet he’s hailed as the new chosen one even as a replacement for Wenger. My advice to Gooners is be a little more patient hard as it is. Leave it or love it in other words. The Arsenal will rise again some day.

Someone should jst tell us the truth. You can’t say you’ve got money nd refuse to spend it, especially wen ur team has plenty of inexperienced and naive players

As evidenced by Sundays second half, the players are good enough. On a different day, with a different referee and no sagna, chelsea would not have raced into a two goal lead. The basis of a really good side is there.Stick a decent defensive midfielder in there and we will match most of our peers .Still we remain in two cup competitions so theres lots to play for

Ps i know Villa wants away from Barcelona, but failing him what about Soldado the Valencia forward, they are always skint and looking to cash in on their best players

Ok ‘Short Sightie McSightyson what’s your vibe now?. Giroud is awesome. Walcott as is efficient as a goldnfish assassin and prince poldi is a (goal) rapist! Cazorla is el class, capitan jack is my new boy friend and Gibbs is gonna score with your gran! As I said before, we are all arsenal lovers here and I dont hate. I love that you write and compose for The Arsenal as I want to (but I am a tech retard so I am limited to writing abusive posts on your site 🙂 ) but let’s look at our strengths not ur weaknesses. All clubs have weaknesses. But we have class. Wenger is coveted by real. The richest club in the world. But no, he stays with us like a Calvin clien model who fell in love with his high school sweet heart and stays with her through super model and professional ‘wife for a cunt.’
He is a proper man, dispite his Mr Bean traits. Everyone praises Moyes. Wenger is exactly the same but one step up. Rant over. I am proud to be Arsenal.

    Tail between legs…….
