is, as we all know, a very shrewd business man when it comes to the transfer windows.

It’s like the Frenchman switches on repeat mode during the months of June to August and January, either claiming the squad are good enough or he will only sign an ‘exceptional’ player if it’s viable through the funds handed to him by the board. And he always waits for the last day of the transfer window to acquire new players, if any.

It’s already day 11 of the winter window and still we are yet to see any new faces at The Emirates. So while it is the norm at Arsenal, the fans will also EXCPECT Wenger to deliver the goods.

But I for one think he is close to finishing all of his business this month.

He has managed to tie down , , , and to new long-term deals – so essentially, in Wenger’s eyes anyway, there’s five ‘new signings’ for the club.

All he has to do now is keep at the club, which he is reportedly very close to doing. If he does this then that’s six signings in total this month, with Walcott shoring up our attacking options

In addition, with Abou Diaby close to regaining fitness, he’ll be regarded by Wenger like a new signing for the rest of the season as well.

Wenger rarely buys anyone in the January transfer window, and I believe this one will be no different.

As far as I’m concerned, the Frenchman has done his business this month.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but I get the feeling I’m right on this one.

This would be insanity and a sure sign the club has decided it’s okay to swap places with Spurs and/or Everton for the season and miss Champions League football.

Transfer has become a deadly joke to this club and its fans. Who believes wenger is going to buy this exceptional player? He’ll buy either a gervhinho or another long term prospect like eisfield. And it would’ve been fine with everyone if we were actually doing ok. But once again we find ourselves in the same position. Players are prefering spuds instead of us, that tells you something. This is exactly how great teams fades away.

Unfortunately for Arsenal I think you are right.
I can’t believe Wenger is still managing the club, he has underperformed for years, carried by some exceptional talent that made him look good. He inherited a good team, made a couple of lucky signings and then systematically dismantled the team with his ineptitude approach to management.

I am sickened by what he has done to our once great club; shame on you Wenger.

I do agree with ua article about our coarch the way he want to motivate the existing squard. We need the right back defender and a central attacker poor finishing is costing the gunners. I will remain being a supporter regard what position we are in, team will improve to regain there confindence. Good luck gooners cheer up.

Arsenal Wener is deluded if he thinks we have two players for every position that are good enough. I would argue there’s only around three players I would even consider to be arsenal standard. It pains me to say it, but he’s lost his mind. Are we going to rely on Diaby yet again, so he can try and shoot and put himself out for another 3-4 months? Ramsey? Striker of any description? A winger of any description? A back up left back? A decent keeper to push Szsc (who I think isn’t great anyway) A DM to cover Arteta? SPEND SOME F**KING MONEY! Walcott will get shown why he can’t play up top on his own this weekend as he bunches off Kompany any time the ball is near him. I’m fed up with this lunacy and constant propaganda from Wenger and the board. We have no chance of finishing in the top four.

The man is an idiot. I once used to look at him with admiration and love now I hate the man for letting other teams get stronger and us get weaker. I hate him and the board. They are mugging us off. I am so embarrased at what he has done to our club. How can we be pride. A once proud club where players wanted to come has turned into a wishy washy club where player come for training then leave. Just in case you didn’t get that Wenger you’re a twat who is a stubborn fool who has lost site of simplicity that made you great. Great defence and fast counter attack football. Not this crap. Bollocks to January.

Well, gunners, for how long can we allow this go on? It’s only at Arsenal we have a manager who is the third highest paid in world football and who has not won any silverware for eight years, but is still in his position. It means Arsenal FC is a business venture run by Wenger as a front man for the board. No top flight club in Europe can keep a manager without a trophy this long. How many managers have been changed by Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea during this period? Long before this transfer window opened, we heard from the board that there is enough money for Wenger to strengthen the team after our poor run of form and Wenger is on record as he would be very busy in the transfer market to strengthen all departments. We are now moving into the 12th day and nothing has happened from Arsenal’s point of view. At the onset of this window, Demba Ba was snatched by Chelsea from under the long nose of Wenger after he said he dreamt of playing for Arsenal. We have been conned not once but many times over!

Sadly I think your right, he will come with the same old stories how the hell we can go through a season with 1 striker is beyond me , we’ve offloaded any cover we had up front and at the back , which just leaves the clowns as cover

It has become unbearable. We have to put up with the same nonsense season after season. Every year the team gets weaker and weaker. I feel that the club is being hollowed out from within and for whatever reason Wenger is unwilling or unable to reverse our decline. If there are no reinforcements this month he should do the honourable thing and resign.

Don’t worry guys, Diaby will be like a new signing, and we’re signing Walcott as a striker, though that might take until the end of the TW. Like ‘the Man’ says there are 200 players vying for a chance to play for our beloved Arsenal, but the main objective is to keep this current group of players together!

Guys this shouldn’t be a news to us, this is usual, at the end of the day, if he wins three to fours matches a roll, you people we keep quiet again. Wenger is a moron, a deluded manager that feels yes I am God that I can do what ever I want, it is a shame for a manager to be controlling a club, we Fans are nothing to the fools anymore, Wenger should go, if he doesn’t buy the super super player, which I know is the father of liars, he should leave our love club alone. I hate him so much that I don’t seen his face, he is twat.

Today’s press comments from Wenger are déjà Vue! What is upsetting is the club treat the supporters like children! Many fans are kids and some adults mentally at that age however treat us with respect!

Every T Window we get the same bullshit about being active and looking to sign Super Quality players! Mid window we get the ” players are returning from injury”.. There is no value in the market.. A global recession will see transfer prices fall..then no signings

Tell us the truth or if you can’t for valid business reasons say nothing for gods sake!!

To say he was not aware Berbatov was for sale is negligent!! He should know whether he wanted to sign him or not! Say I didn’t feel he was right for us or we could not afford him. Tell the truth. ( not saying we should have signed him just saying what he told us thru the press is embarrassing and unacceptable )

We pay huge ticket prices and deserve respect but we are treated as mugs and I am seriously pissed about it

this time round we are in more trouble than we were last time and if wenger dont bring anyone in, we could be in trouble.
