Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Nantes youngster George-Kevin Nkoudou.

I know what you’re all thinking – great another kid!

The Daily Mirror suggests the 17-year-old winger is on the Arsenal radar and has also attracted the attentions of Porto, Juventus and Benfica, and is believed to have a £1 million clause in his existing deal.

Arsene Wenger is believed to be in the market to reinforce his current squad this month, claiming that the club will spend big in the near future.

However, Nkoudou, a France Under-17 international, would certainly be one for the future, with Arsenal already packed with options on the wing.

Wenger loves to bag a bargain, and is renowned for acquiring bright young talent.

However, many of the Arsenal faithful will moan and groan to read and hear that the Frenchman is tracking yet another unproven youth player, rather than a top-class or seasoned one.

  • Rodrick says:

If he buys the youngster for the future then no problem, but right now we need proven stars to push the club, atleast we get into top four that will be better.
