Real Madrid’s Kaka is unsure where he will be playing his football after the January transfer window – could it be at the Emirates?

The out-of-favour playmaker was linked with a move to Arsenal during the summer, but the Brazilian decided to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kaka joined Real from AC Milan in 2009 for £59 million and despite starting off his career in Spain in good fashion, the 30-year-old has found it hard to cement a first-team spot in recent times and has suffered from a chronic knee injury which has undoubtedly hindered his chances.

So far this season Kaka has appeared nine times (four starts) in all competitions for Los Blancos.

However, despite a promising performance against Ajax last night in the Champions League, where he netted a goal, Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering selling the attacking midfielder.

LA Galaxy are apparently looking into the possibility of signing Kaka, who recently admitted he could be on his way out of Real Madrid when the winter window opens:

He told Spanish newspaper AS:

‘I keep doing my job to stay in Madrid,” he told Spanish newspaper AS. “Then, to see what happens and what the club wants. It’s not a comfortable situation for either the club or me.

‘I do not know what will happen. I have a contract until 2015.

‘The club called me (in the summer) and we did not find a solution. What January? I do not know, I hope to know what the club wants. If they choose a solution, I’m open to talk.

You know what, I wouldn’t mind Arsenal renewing their interest in Kaka, as he is a type of player we could do with at the moment. Despite Santi Cazorla’s inclusion in the team over the summer, we still lack that creative spark and I believe he could help us find it should he decide to join us in January.

Kaka has declined with age and anyway he is earning €250k a week at the Bernabau.Even if we needed him would we want to pay him?

  • the king says:

we cant afford to pay walcott 90k a week….
you think the board wil pay 150 minimum for him a week……no big play would come to us anyways.

  • MartyP says:

They are already paying Poldolski 90, but the asshats will not pay Theo as much, if not more??? Penny wise and pound foolish as usual. Meantime let Arsene have some money so he can continue to develop these young players that the board can later sell so they can star somewhere else. Kaka, this was hilarious.!!
