Two days after that mad night at The Madejski Stadium, where Arsenal played out a thrilling 7-5 victory over Reading in the Capital One Cup, I posted up a poll asking the question – which Arsenal youngster has the brightest future ahead of them?

Needless to say, The Gunners have an array of young, talented youth coming through their ranks, as well as being signed, and on that night we got the chance to see some of them in action and showcase what they can do. And I was curious to find out who the Arsenal faithful are most keen to see shine.

There were 18 names on the list from which readers could’ve have voted for, and many of the voters agreed that one particular starlet stands out from the rest.

Results showed that 60% of votes cast (294 in total) believe 19-year-old Thomas Eisfeld has the brightest future ahead of him at The Emirates. His German compatriot Serge Gnarby came in second with 29% of the votes, with Costa Rican youngster Joel Campbell and Joel Campbell were joint-third place with 4%.

Kristoffer Olsson, Kyle Ebecilio, Ignasi Miquel, Chuks Aneke, Jernade Meade, Hector Bellerin, Jon Toral and Wellington all shared 1%, whilst Conor Henderson and Craig Eastmond, who both shared a vote each, Sanchez Watt, Daniel Boateng, Sead Hajrovic and Damian Martinez didn’t even get on the board.

Though he didnt get enough time on the pitch during the Reading game, the boy with the brightest future to me is Jernade Meade, very composed, pacy and comfortable on the ball. Watch this guy. He has the brightest future.Basing in his position too, and owing to the fact that Santos may not last, he may step up very fast to deputize for Gibbs. He has a good future at Arsenal
