Roma have apparently contacted Arsenal over a £5 million January move for Tomas Rosicky.
The 32-year-old creative midfielder is currently nursing an injury to his Achilles tendon and has yet to feature for The Gunners this season,
The Czech Republic international suffered the injury in mid-May and Arsene Wenger is unsure when he will be made available for selection.
Rosicky is no stranger to the treatment room. Since joining Arsenal, in 2006, the midfielder has made a grand total of 154 appearances for the club, bagging 18 goals and 16 assists to date.
His latest injury could finally see Wenger decide to cash in on Rosicky this January, especially since the summer arrival of Santi Cazorla from Malaga.
TalkSPORT claims Roma are now ready to step in and take Rosicky off Arsenal’s books and, with the player’s contract set to expire in June 2014, the Giallorossi reckon they can sign the Czech star on a cheap.
So, should Wenger consider selling the ageing midfielder this winter?
