After a recent run of decent form in the French second tier, Monaco forward Ibrahima Toure has publicly opened himself to a move abroad, possibly to England, with Arsenal being his preferred destination.
Toure is known to be a terrific striker and has lived up to his billing ever since joining Monaco in January.
The 26-year-old has netted 23 times in 28 appearances for Les Rouge et Blanc and has been a subject of a potential transfer for clubs in Europe.
However, the Senegalese-born striker has made his intentions clear over the transfer rumours surrounding him:
He recently said:
‘Playing in the Premier League is my dream. That is my wish.’
He added:
‘Would I stay if I have offers from England next summer? It will depend on what the club officials decide. We will see.
‘Monaco are a big club but my long-term wish is to play in England, for example at Arsenal.’
These are the kind of players Arsenal need – players that work their socks off and want to wear the famous red and white shirt.
However, is he the striker The Gunners are in desperate need of? His record is impressive, but only time will tell if Arsene Wenger will make a move for him.
