Could it be anymore clearer?

There has been another twist to the speculations surrounding the future of Theo Walcott and Bacary Sagna, after their names have been particularly found missing in Arsenal’s yearly calendar for 2013.

Walcott’s contract is nearing its expiry date and as such has been subject of transfer talk recently.

The England international has been severely linked with move away from The Emirates, with rivals Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Italian giants Juventus cited as possible destinations.

Similarly, Sagna has a year-and-a-half left on his existing deal at Arsenal and has yet to have a talk about extending his stay with Arsene Wenger.

The solid French full-back revealed his fury over the sales of Robin van Persie and Alex Song sales in the summer when he returned from a long-term injury in October.

The 29-year-old has had his Arsenal future in doubt ever since he made the comment, with Inter Milan hotly tipped to sign him in the near future.

The omissions of the duo from the club’s official calendar have gone to cast more doubts on the possibility of them remaining at Arsenal longer than their present contracts.

Such exclusion is best interpreted as a ‘hint’, which explains why the fans shouldn’t expect to see them around for the entirety of 2013.

It should either be ‘anymore clear’, or ‘any clearer’. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle! x

You took the words out of my mouth. Tony Merakli if you are going to write at least learn the basics of the English language, failure to do so undermines the credibility of your efforts.

Clearer is a word in the English language. Perhaps it sounds better with the word ‘clear’ but its done now.

wherever Theo goes I will be his fan. He has been totally disrespected and behaved on a more mature level then Wenger. The odious benching at the beginning of the season seems to have spurred him on. The fact that a new signing like Poldolski is getting paid 90 a week and they will not offer Theo more is just completely bonkers. They can offer Wilshire and the other young ones four or five years, but if I was Jack I would not be tied to a long term contrat at this club if they let Theo go. Ox, and the other youngsters are getting an abject lesson in how this club looks at it’s players, toys and interchangeable parts.
