The Daily Mail reports Inter Milan are considering a move for Bacary Sagna, if the France international fails to agree a new deal at Arsenal.

Earlier in the month the 29-year-old voiced out his frustration and annoyance about the club’s constant selling of their best players and lack of silverware. This, however, resulted in a dressing down from Arsene Wenger, with the Frenchman stating whoever wants to leave is free to go, and it seems Inter are ready to throw another spanner in the works by preparing a move for the full-back.

Sagna is currently on his way back from a broken leg and despite his outburst, Wenger remains confident the defender will sign a new long-term contract.

Sagna still has two-years left on his current deal at The Emirates, but it looks like Wenger and the club have taken a different approach with players who are nearing the end of their contract and disrupting the team.

Personally, with two-years left on his deal, if Sagna wants to leave then Wenger should let him. We have a young, hungry defender in Carl Jenkinson ready to step into his place, as well as Laurent Koscielny, Francis Coquelin and even Nico Yennaris who can all play in his position.

We’ll have to wait and see what transpires, but don’t be too surprised if you see the unsettled Sagna leave our club next summer.
