We’ll have you back anyday!

Thierry Henry recently revealed that he would welcome the chance to re-join Arsenal for the third time, but claims no discussions have taken place as of yet.

THE Arsenal legend returned home last season, during the MLS off-season, and managed to score two goals – one of which came on his debut in the FA Cup against Leeds – in six appearances.

And the 34-year-old striker says a move back to Arsenal WILL happen, whether it is as a player or coach.

Earlier in the week, Henry said:

‘I would like to go back to England with Arsenal for sure.

‘I wasn’t planning to go back to play last season. It was only because Gervinho and Chamakh went to the African Nations Cup.

‘I was there to train and they asked me if I wanted to play. Who knows what might happen in the future?’

He finished off by saying:

‘I’ve not yet spoken to Arsene about it so I don’t know what capacity I could go back in.’

‘Coaching does interest me but I don’t know what my talent is going to be after I have finished my career. But I will go back to Arsenal.’

It would be great to see Henry once again return and play for Arsenal, and I think even if we don’t necessarily need him, because we’ve signed Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski, the Frenchman’s presence alone is enough for the fans and players.

The guy is Arsenal through and through, and I wouldn’t be that surprised to see him back home sometime this season.

I know the friendly is of no significance at this stage. But the defence is still poor. If Wenger wants to win the epl or any trophy the defence must improve considerably. Haven’t we said that before?
Btw if Arsenal can’t challenge, make 2012-13 his last season..No top manager has survived for such a long time without winning anything. If no changes are made, the board must enforce the change starting at the top.
