With Manuel Almunia gone and Lukasz Fabianski set to follow in the Spaniard’s footsteps this summer, Arsene Wenger will need to bring in another goalkeeper to cover, as well as challenge, Wojciech Szczesny.
The 26-year-old Italian is currently co-owned by Inter Milan and Parlemo, and with neither side viewing him as a potential starter for the upcoming season, Viviano has reportedly told his agent to search for a new club.
Fiorentina are believed to be interested in the Italian international, but Arsenal are apparently consider a move for the 6’5’’ goalie.
So, would Viviano be an ideal signing for our club this summer. In my opinion, I think he would.
He is a tall, experienced goalkeeper who commands his area well and has excellent reflexes, and I also think he is capable of keeping Shezza on his toes.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Lloris come in, but I just can’t see it happening to be honest. Viviano would be a cheaper option for Wenger, and is a shot-stopper who can add value and improve our squad.
