are preparing a £15 million summer move for Malaga winger , as reported by the Metro.

The mega-rich La Liga club want to cut their costs and will apparently listen to offers for the Spanish international.

Cazorla, who joined Malaga last summer from Villarreal for €21 million, has been targeted by Tottenham in the past, but the 27-year-old is believed to be looking to move to a club which can offer Chamapions League football.

Despite already signing and – for a combined total of around £24 million – the Gunners have funds at their disposal which could increase significantly if is sold.

But should Arsenal splash out £15 million on Cazorla? Would the Spaniard be an ideal signing for us this summer? In my opinion, I think it would be a waste of money.

As much as I like Cazorla as a player, signing him is not a necessity for us.

I would rather the cash be spent on a holding midfielder, a back-up defender and goalkeeper.

Why would we not buy other players just because we signed an attacking midfielder?

now this is the player we need, not prospects who use arsenal for their career development and then turn their backs on the club, this guy can even be central which is good for us, i wish wenger would buy him, gunner for life!

Concentrate on defence now we have enough up front. Gervinho, Ryo, Giroud, Podolski, Ox-C and Walcott. A midfield playmaker is a must, Wilshere will struggle to make the grade this season. Also add a fullback. Ramsey to Cardiff on loan to regain his confidence. Arteta for captain with Vermaelen as vice. Ring Lewandowski and Moses for Christmas signings if needed. OMO.

Anyone who doesn’t think santi carzola should come to arsenal is stupid….when cesc left arsenal, carzola was to be his replacement…he’s not truly a winger he’s a central attacking midfielder that can play in many different positions….and if you guys think CAM position is not something we need you haven’t been watching arsenal in the past couple seasons….Ramsey is not our answer in my opinion…Carzola would be the perfect fit for arsenal, just think mikel arteta with greater vision and passing skills
