AC Milan seem to be back in the hunt for Robin van Persie, after the recent departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to mega-rich Paris St. Germain.

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by talkSPORT, claim the Milanese giants are ready to make a move for the 28-year-old Arsenal captain, who only has one year left to run on his existing deal at The Emirates, after the Rossonerri have been left without a leading striker in their camp.

As a result of this, Milan, who have been linked with a move for Van Persie in the past, are now looking to resolve this issue quickly and see the Dutch striker as a realistic and suitable replacement for Ibra.

A handful of teams are eyeing up RVP this summer – Manchester City, United and Juventus are but a few on the list.

However, if Arsenal do decide to sell their prized asset then they would prefer him to seal a move abroad, rather than stay in the Premier League.
