Liverpool are desperate to land Theo Walcott, so much so that they are willing to sell Andy Carroll to fund a £15 million bid for the Arsenal winger, according to The Sun.
Walcott only has one year left to run on his contract and is yet to agree a new deal at The Emirates.
The 23-year-old reportedly earns around £65k-a-week but wants to be brought up in the £100k mark, which many feel he is not worthy of.
Chelsea and PSG are said to be keen on the England international, but new Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to bring in new faces and thinks Theo could be a major star for the Merseyside club.
Meanwhile Carroll’s future at Anfield remains in serious doubt after Liverpool rejected Newcastle’s loan bid for the striker. It is believed the Kop bosses are looking for a permanent move for Carroll in order to raise money for new signings this summer and should this occur then Liverpool will more than likely make a move for Walcott.
Arsene Wenger wants to keep Theo put, but some members of the club’s board are considering cashing in on the winger this summer.

Only one word can describe this story TRIPE.
According to the Sun this evening Sun will set in the east because the Sun said so.
Any true footy fan would not even mention the name of that rag.
Why? It’s a great read…
