Should Arsenal send this young star back to Bolton next season?

Owen Coyle has already begun preparing for life in the Championship by planning on re-negotiating a loan deal with Arsenal for Ryo Miyaichi.

Coyle said:

‘We’d love to have him back – he’s an exciting young player and that’s what we want for next year.’

I would be happy to let Ryo go on loan for another season and if Bolton are interested, I don’t see it being a problem for him. I would also hope that it would increase his confidence being able to play more often and develop his raw talent.

Should Bolton manage to re-negotiate the proposed temporary deal then it would be the third time that the young Japanese winger has go out on loan, after previously playing for Feyenoord.

It looked like Miyaichi enjoyed his time at Bolton and Coyle reflected on this and his progress:

‘Ryo certainly loved his time at the club, to be fair to the kid, he was trying to play through injuries in the last four or five games and I had to say to him ‘in order to be at your best, you have to be at your maximum fitness.

‘He had such a big heart that he wanted to play his part. We had to take him out of the firing line. If we could get him back with us again, then that would be great.’

Having another full season at Bolton would be very beneficial for the 19-year-old, and hopefully he seals the deal and comes back at the end of next season to Arsenal and be able to fight for a place in the starting line-up. It would make more sense for him to develop his craft on loan rather then him sitting on the bench or playing reserve football.

Arsenal have some fine young players average 17/19 playing in the junior and reserve teams, so I don’t think that Ryo should be sent out on loan. What I would expect is that Arsenal should have is a strong settled reserve team playing all the year round together with the reward being that at least they will be able to play against top teams in the Carling cup up to the final.

I am sure Mr Wenger will be then happy to say that he has built a team for the future.

the way arsenal talk about sending players out on loan you will think we just signed messi and neymar.
at the current setup we don’t have established winger, gervinho might pickup or he might not. walcott is not a winger and chamberlain might start next season as cam. a good manager will pick ryo ahead of walcott any day.

ARSENAL NEED TO KEEP RYO,AND PLAY HIM FOR CARLINGTON/FA CUP.THIS WAY HE WILL LEARN HIS TRADE MUCH BETTER.THEO HAS BEEN WITH ARSENAL FOR 7 YEARS,STILL HE GET HIS FEET TANGLE WITH THE BALL AND HE CAN NEVER TAKE PLAYERS,WHERE AS RYO HE IS NOT AFRAID TO BALANCE HIS BODY AND TAKE ONE OR TWO PLAYERS. IT IS TIME NOW TO SEND RAMSEY TO COYLE AND LET HIM SHOW THE LAD HOW TO COMPOSE HIMSELF IN THE MIDFIELD. ARE WE GOING TO HAVE A QUALITY MD OR WAITING FOR WILSHIRE TO COME.
