PFA Golden Boy and Spuds winger Gareth Bale fired a warning at The Arsenal on Monday.
He said:
‘Hopefully, we can get back to winning in the next game and then kick on and get that third spot.
‘We need Arsenal to lose now, so we can get back on level terms.
‘The lads all know we have stopped the rot now. I think we have had our blip now and we can look forward to some positive results and get back where we belong.’
Still showing the small club mentality then Gareth, especially if you think two consecutive draws to Stoke City and Chelski is ‘stopping the rot’ (apparently the title of the next Spuds DVD to hit your local store, so keep an eye out folks!).
I’m also loving the ‘back where we belong’ comment, where do feel you are supposed to be Bale?

My personal response to Bessi’s comments would go something along the lines of, ‘50 years, never again. London is Red and always will be. Now run along to your government handout stadium in East London, while we stay here in our OWN stadium and play with the grown ups!!!!’

not disagreeing. just saying we are a team on the way up – you aren’t. we are improving every year you aren’t. Arsenal fans and players are going on and celebrating like they have won the league when all they have done is be above Spurs for the first time all season. You have to understand for spurs fans its hilarious. We never expected to be above you for 6/8ths of a season. You have been the better team for a long time. The fact is, you are not any longer and all we spurs fans see is you guys celebrating winning and achieving absolutely nothing physical at all. Again ill say, well done for the moral victory you perceive you have gained. In reality it means nothing though as we both know Spurs arent going anywhere unlike RVP and soon you will all be crying silently into your cereal like you were 5 weeks ago.
