Here are eight things you should know about QPR and Arsenal prior to kick-off this afternoon:

1. QPR will be looking to bounce back against Arsenal this weekend after conceding two quick goals in the 70th and 76th minute against Sunderland last Saturday.

2. Djibril Cisse has had mixed fortunes so far this season. In his five appearances the French striker has scored three times, but has also been red carded twice – his latest dismissal coming against Sunderland.

3. Cisse’s three goals have come from just fourteen shots at goal with 71% on target.

4. On-loan defender Taye Taiwo scored his first goal of the season in the game against Sunderland, having previously had eleven shots at goal and contributed three assists.

5. Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta all bagged themselves a goal as Arsenal beat Aston Villa 3-0 at The Emirates last Saturday.

6. Robin van Persie has consistently been one of Arsenal’s hardest working players this season. He’s not only bagged himself 26 goals in the Premier League this season already but, according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, he has also covered an impressive 176.12 miles. This total means RVP’s covered more ground than any other Arsenal player and is only second behind Fulham’s Clint Dempsey in the overall ranking.

7. The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index tells us that QPR have covered 1,866 miles this season as a squad, while Arsenal have covered 1892 miles.

8. Arsenal have three players in the top twenty for overall distance covered, with Mikel Arteta in 19th with 161 miles and Aaron Ramsey 20th with 155 miles.
