Arsenal target Younes Belhanda was quoted on talkSPORT.com saying that speculation linking him with a move away from Montpellier in the summer has unsettled him a little, but the Moroccan international remains focused on the job at hand.

Arsene Wenger has not hidden his admiration for the 22-year-old, admitting a few days ago that he ‘loves’ Belhanda’s style of play. The forward himself has also expressed his desire to one day play in the Premier League, which has not helped his cause in anyway shape or form.

However, with Montpellier currently on top of Ligue 1 – thanks to their goal difference – Belhanda, who has scored seven league goals in 25 appearances so far this season, insists he will not consider his future until the conclusion of the current campaign:

‘Right now I only want to finish the season well. There are nine games left and the team face major battles, so I do not want to talk about next season.

‘Bids from other clubs disturb me a bit, but I prefer to stay out of it and just stay focused on my work in the field.’

The best thing for our club to do at this moment is to solely focus on finishing in the top four, transfers and contract negotiations can take a back seat until the end of May.
